How I Got into Paddling:
I practically grew up in a kayak, thanks to my parents who are mad keen paddlers. Started off in canoe slalom, competing for the German national squad as well. After finishing high school, I headed to New Zealand and fell in love for whitewater kayaking. The thrill of paddling wild rivers hit me deep.
What I Love About Whitewater Kayaking:
Whitewater kayaking isn't just a sport – it's a way of life. Love the rush of nailing rapids and feeling totally free on the water. Being out in nature and seeing places that we wouldn’t be able to experience outside of the boat. Plus, it's epic to meet new people on the water, make mates, and build lifelong friendships. Kayaking's made me strong in body and mind, and I can't imagine life without it.
