Prijon Teampaddler
How I got into paddling:
I got into kayaking through my family. I started on canoe trips, later in a Duo-Kayak and around 7 years I hopped in my own kayak. At the age of 17 I started to go on kayak trips outside of Europe and explored a lot of different rivers all around the world.
What I love about whitewater kayaking:
For me, water is such a fascinating element and when I am on the river I am almost part of it. When I manage to read the water succesfully, I have full control over my boat and the water helps me to have super smooth lines, massive boofs and crazy fast skips. And this feeling is what I love most about kayaking.
Also the landscapes around the rivers make it very special and make me feel like I am part of nature.
