How I got into whitewater kayaking:

My kayaking career started at the age of 11, when our class visited the local Kanu Club. After my first strokes on the water, I got into canoe slalom and stayed there since the age of 17. When the first of my mates got the driver's license we got out of the slalom world on some real white water, that's it.

 

What I love about whitewater kayaking:
About kayaking I love most, to feel the power of water, and be able to fly over the water in my kayak, and play around on the river. But kayaking is not just about kayaking, it's about the community and the friends we made on the rivers. The best about is that, this friends somehow got family. We share the same passion and to know that you have these people in your life for the rest of your life
