Name: Daniel Watkins

Nickname: Dan

Hometown: Hobart, Tasmania, Australia

Height: 179cm

Weight: 80kg

Day of birth: 21 November 1995

Member of the Prijon-Team since: 2016

About myself:  I am both a Creek paddler as well as a Slalom paddler on the Australian Canoe Slalom Senior Team. I Race Worlds Cups in both K1 and C1 and go creeking every chance I get in between races. So I pretty much spend 6 months a year kayaking in Europe and the rest between Tasmania and anywhere else I can go kayaking.

Hobbies (besides Kayaking): Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking

Favorite Rivers/Spots: Lea River in Tasmania.  Just an easy low volume creek with a few drops that you always have the best time paddling!

Why do I Kayak? I kayak because the feeling you get after stomping a big rapid or nailing a hard slalom move is better then any other feeling in the World!

Favorite-Prijon-Product:  Curve 3.0

Statement about my Favorite-Prijon-Product: The Curve is most playful and maneuverable boat I’ve ever paddled. It Rails turns like a slalom boat and is the easiest boat to lift the bow and get the driest lines!
